WHAT TO DO? If you find an injured or orphaned bird or animal, contact a wildlife carer, vet or sanctuary. Animals are often in shock after an accident, and need specialist care, food, medicine and equipment. The first 24 hours are crucial, and animals may not survive if they do not get the right care during that period.
