NATIVE ANIMAL NETWORK ASSOCIATION

FOUND INJURED WILDLIFE?

If you find an injured or orphaned bird or animal, contact a wildlife carer, vet or sanctuary. Animals are often in shock after an accident and need specialist care, food, medicine and equipment. The first 24 hours are crucial, and they may not survive if they do not get the right care during that period. Wild animals will bite and scratch as they don't know you are trying to help. Never handle snakes or bats unless fully trained.

RESCUED!

NANA helped create a book about wildlife rescue written by carers from around Australia.   By buying a copy, and reading some of the funny, moving and inspirational stories about our work, you help us with much needed funds. more.....
